Alodia Gosiengfiao and her boyfriend Wil Dasovich received heavy backlash on social media because of their recently-uploaded “TikTok” video.

KAMI learned that the prominent couple did their own version of “My Heart Went Oops” challenge, but a lot of people considered it controversial.

Netizens did not like how the lovebirds allegedly promoted “toxic masculinity” through a video that did not even last 20 seconds.

The much-talked-about clip showed that when Alodia was expected to remove her shirt, her partner came in and wagged his finger to say “no.”

“Her claim to fame is dressing up cute and sexy. Who is this neanderthal trying to keep her doing her thing? And why is she allowing it?” a netizen commented.

Through a 16-minute video, Alodia and Wil finally addressed the issue and said that people should not take everything out of context.

The gorgeous vlogger further stated that their bashers are just “overanalyzing” things when they said that the video promoted the stereotype that men should always be in control.

Wil also explained that the viral “TikTok” video was just for fun and he even revealed that he does not dictate any action of his girlfriend.

“The joke is not about me controlling what she wears but the joke is that you're not gonna see this today --- that's it! I can't even explain it any further than that. I don't understand why people would assume something like that,” he quipped.

"Our followers understand us from all the years we've been making videos and from who we are as a people --- our values and morals… She's the boss… She does whatever she wants and I never dictate her to do something...” he added.

After explaining everything, Alodia and her partner decided to issue an apology to those who got offended by their “My Heart Went Oops” video.
