A video of a female senior citizen sharing a good-vibes song reminding the public to keep safe from the coronavirus disease recently went viral on social media.
In the viral video uploaded on Facebook, Erlinda Villalobo is singing a song entitled COVID Song which she personally made to the tune of Kiss Me, Kiss Me which was originally sang by Efren Montes in 1971 and revived by Sarah Geronimo almost two years ago.
Part of its lyrics was, “Ang lahat dapat mag-ingat sa virus na kumakalat.
In the song’s chorus, Erlinda echoed that everyone must take care of their selves during this pandemic.
“Mag-ingat tayo in the morning. Mag-ingat tayo in the night. Mag-ingat tayo in the daytime. Mag-ingat tayo all the time. Halina't ating linisan ang bawat tahanan natin. Nang ang buhay guminhawa, iwas COVID.”
She also included in the lyrics how important it is to be united in these trying times.
The 66-year old singer then gained positive reactions after her post went viral.
“I love it, bravo nanay!"
“Ang ganda ng awit mo Inay, nakaka-inspire.”
