Toni Gonzaga was criticized on social media by a basher who accused her of not doing anything to help the needy amid the COVID-19 crisis in the Philippines.
KAMI learned that Alex Gonzaga decided to fire back against the basher to defend her older sister.
According to Alex, her sister has already provided plenty of help during the crisis but she just did want to publicize it.
To further defend Toni, Alex showed a picture of the fourth batch of donations from her sister.
“Teddie Salazar walang kwenta pero yung Toni Gonzaga dami na naitulong di lang sya mapost. Ako magpopost teka lang,” Alex tweeted.
“The 4th batch of our 1k relief goods is from my sister. She has been continuously helping without posting anything. She has built and renovated different churches, has scholars and regular feeding program for kids. Ako nalang magpost kasi im so proud of my generous Ate,” she posted.
In a previous report by KAMI, Alex shared her thoughts about the four COVID-19 patients in Quezon City who got sent home due to overcrowding in hospitals.
Alex Gonzaga was born on January 16, 1988 in the Philippines as Catherine Mae Cruz Gonzaga. She started her career on ABS-CBN's sitcom, Let's Go. Aside from her acting and hosting career, she became one of the most successful vloggers in the country.
