Heartbreaking video of 9-year-old daughter giving frontliner mom an air hug goes viral

- A video of a young girl giving her mom, a policewoman, an air hug went viral

- The girl was waiting for her mom to arrive to pick up the fruits that she has prepared for her

- When the mom alighted from the police vehicle, she stopped in her tracks and instructed her daughter to drop the plastic of fruits on the ground and gestured for her to get back inside

- The young girl then opened her arms and crossed them again on her chest, signifying a hug for her frontliner mom

A video of a young girl in Davao City, giving her frontliner policewoman mom an air hug went viral.

The video was posted by Facebook user Theresa Nestos Ugto. In the video, it could be seen how the young girl came out of the house, carrying a plastic full of fruits and biscuits intended for her mother.

Her mom was roaming the city to enforce the government directive on the enhanced community quarantine.

The girl, 9-year-old Perszi Nestoso, was eagerly waiting for her mom at the gate of their home until the patrol car arrived.

When the mom alighted, she crossed the road, then stopped and didn't come near her daughter.

Instead, she instructed her to drop the plastic on the ground and for the girl to get back in the house.

Then, the girl gave her mom a hug, which the latter also reciprocated.

In a previous report by KAMI, the government faced problems when they imposed the initial community quarantine, which was elevated into the now ongoing enhanced community quarantine. It also suspended transportation causing massive problems with commuters.

The coronavirus outbreak started out in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China. Scientists believed that the virus came from an animal at one of Wuhan's wet markets. At present, the Philippines is under a state of calamity while the entire Luzon is under an enhanced community quarantine.
