San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora had an emotional post on Facebook amid the COVID-19 crisis in the country.
KAMI learned that one of his staff members, Ricky Rodero, passed away due to the said virus.
According to Zamora, Rodero was a hardworking, kind, trustworthy and dependable employee.
The mayor also expressed his appreciation for Rodero’s service to the public as his staff member.
“Goodbye to my hardworking, kind, trustworthy and dependable Mayor's Office staff Ricky Rodero who passed away because of COVID-19.
“Thank you so much for your good service to the citizens of San Juan. RIP,” the mayor posted on Facebook.
KAMI previously reported that former San Juan Mayor Jinggoy Estrada repeatedly cursed at Zamora in a live Facebook video.
Francis Zamora is one of the new and young mayors in Metro Manila who have impressed a lot of Filipinos. The other popular mayors include Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, both of them are well known for being hands-on and honest in their public service.
