Several photos of a Filipina medical frontliner have recently gone viral on social media.
KAMI learned that the said pictures were uploaded by a certain Acer Bongolo Vergara Bautista on his Facebook account.
The photos showed the healthcare worker eating alone at an almost empty street amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The uploader claimed that the frontliner might be thinking that some people will just discriminate her so she decided to eat at an unoccupied place.
“Nakakaiyak naman tingnan to. Viral ngayon ang larawan ng isang bayaning frontliner na sa takot siguro mapahiya o madisgrasya sa kamay ng mga taong mababa ang utak, sa tabi na lang kumakain,” he quipped.
“Mabuhay kayong lahat na mga frontliners. Sobrang hanga ako sa mga sakripisyo niyo para sa mga kababayan na kung tutuusin hindi deserving sa sacrifices ninyo," he added.
As of this writing, the post already has 115 thousand reactions and more than 39 thousand shares on Facebook.
