The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed on April 7 that there are 11 more COVID-19 patients who have recovered already from the disease.
KAMI learned that the said important information was disclosed during the latest virtual press briefing of the health department.
It is the highest number of recoveries tallied in a single day so far since the disease hit the Philippines in January.
As of today, there are already 84 patients in the country who have recovered from the dreadful disease.
The rise in the number of recoveries is expected to give hope to millions of Filipinos who are affected by the global pandemic.
Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines has climbed to 3,764.
The public is still advised to strictly follow quarantine protocols and be informed of the latest development regarding COVID-19.

The Philippines is one of the countries that is greatly affected by the novel coronavirus. The community quarantine in Luzon has been extended until April 30.
