Iza Calzado certainly knows how it feels to be infected with the dreadful novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
That became one of the reasons why she wants to donate blood plasma to help treat other patients who tested positive for the said virus.
KAMI learned of the said information when the veteran actress posted a screenshot of her conversation with a medical frontliner.
A doctor asked the celebrity if she is willing to donate blood because it already has antibodies that may be used to cure other patients.
Without hesitation, Iza said that she will donate and it will become her advocacy amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The “Ngayon at Kailanman” cast member also urged other COVID-19 survivors to donate blood plasma for treatment of critically ill patients.
“YES! I will keep donating! This will be my advocacy," she wrote.
“Reach out to PGH if you want to donate. Sabay tayo kung gusto niyo!” she added.

Iza Calzado, or Maria Izadora Ussher Calzado in real life, is a Filipina actress who already starred in many teleseryes. She confirmed on March 25 that she tested positive for COVID-19.
