Cesar Barcena, a Filipino lifeguard at the Symphony of Seas has recently buzzed the online community after sharing a video himself cheering other Filipino crew members from various cruise ships.

KAMI learned that the said video went viral after it was uploaded and that it has already garnered 389,000 views on social media.

In the video, Cesar could be heard saying, "Makakauwi din tayo!" which elicited cheers and whistles from the other Filipino crew members on the MSC Meraviglia.

Aside from this, Cesar's message prompted one Filipino to shout, "Uwian na!" to which Cesar replied, "Laban lang!"

According to the article by The Filipino Times (authored by Malou Bartolome), Cesar shared that out of 2,200 crew members at the Symphony of Seas, there are more or less 700 Filipinos on board.

The said video elicited various reactions and comments from netizens on social media.

"Nakakadurog ng puso. Stay safe every one."
"Have a strong faith and prayers to you fellow seafarers."
"Keep praying mga kabarko and keep fighting for those people who had been losing their hopes."
