Some Filipino celebrities have already expressed their frustration on the Philippine government's response to the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic.
Among those popular personalities is actress Nadine Lustre who took to social media to speak up about the present crisis.
“Covid exposed the government for what it really is. The people need help, compassion (minus Koko) and transparency, not threats and lies,” she wrote in an Instagram story screen captured by Fashion Pulis.
“Kahapon lang April fools. Pero bakit parang ilang weeks na tayong naglolokohan??!” Nadine quipped.
“Nagaanxiety ako. L*che” she added.
She also responded to netizens “looking” for her and her political stance.
“Yung P274 Billion hanapin niyo, wag ako. Kaloka. Makapaghalaman na nga,” she said.
P274 billion, which Nadine mentioned, is the budget supposedly allocated for emergency funds amid the COVID-19 crisis in the country.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Nadine has shared inspiring words in the midst of the outbreak through a pre-recorded video that aired on March 22 during the Pantawid ng Pag-ibig: At Home Together Concert.
“It’s an affirmation that in the midst of every imaginable trial, matibay po talaga tayong mga Pilipino. We have gone through so much as one country and we will rise again because we help one another, we care about each other and we share our resources to our kababayans,” she said.
Pantawid ng Pag-ibig: At-Home Together Concert is a digital concert joined by more than 100 ABS-CBN stars who came together virtually from their own homes to raise funds to help families greatly affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
In a previous report by KAMI, Nadine Lustre and James Reid got spotted together anew in a resort.
Nadine Lustre is one of the most beautiful actresses in the Philippines. She starred in many films with James Reid, such as Diary ng Panget and Never Not Love You.
