The Philippines has recorded 11 new fatalities due to the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
KAMI learned that according to the Department of Health (DOH), the number of COVID-related deaths in the country is now 107.
The said department confirmed through a live update on April 2 that less than a dozen patients have succumbed to the virus.
Meanwhile, as of 5 p.m. today, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines climbed up to 2,633.
The health department continues to remind the public to strictly follow quarantine protocols to avoid getting infected with the dreadful disease.
