The daughter of a person under investigation (PUI) who passed away because of the novel coronavirus disease posted screenshots of her recent conversation with her dad.
KAMI learned that the said heartbreaking screenshots were uploaded on March 28 and they were able to touch the hearts of many people.
It can be seen in the conversation that Liwanag Serrano Jr. tried to convince his child that he can survive the fatal virus because he is a fighter.
His daughter also told him that she was already able to purchase fruits to help him recover and she also assured him of her love.
“Wag kang mag alala fighter daddy mo kaya ko to,” Liwanag stated.
“Ok love you… Na order na din kita fruits pero sa Thursday pa dadating. Binilhan kita grapes and apple,” his daughter replied.
In the caption of the post, Liwanag’s daughter mentioned that she and her family are mourning her father’s death now and they felt like they lost a battle without having any chance to fight.
“I refuse for you to be remembered as a statistic. I never thought you will be a casualty of war, a battle we lost without a fight…” she wrote.
“He died without family beside him… We are in mourning but I can’t help but feel like we lost without a fight… I’m sorry Daddy. I’m sorry for letting you down. I’m sorry that we are so helpless…” she added.
