Two doctors from Cebu have succumbed to the deadly COVID-19. They're Dr. Helen Tudtud and Dr. Ramon Tudtud, and yes, they're husband and wife.

The deaths of the two heroic individuals were only three days apart, causing so much pain to their children.

Dennis Thomas Tudtud, one of the doctors' children, took to Facebook to express his grief and gave an emotional tribute to two souls whom he called as his angels.

Our Daddy Dennis has joined Mommy Helen. My sister and I are in deep sorrow that God had to take both of them but I take comfort that they are happy together in their journey to paradise.

In his post, Dennis recounted how selfless his father was, putting others first before himself. He also mentioned that he would even pay for the chemotherapy sessions of a number of his patients so that they could also be with their families.

I will forever miss our Daddy Den’s selflessness. He has always put others before himself...His selflessness did not stop in our home. Dennis admitted that he and his sister may never understand why God had to take both his parents but their only comfort was that their parents are happy together in their journey to paradise.

At the end of his post, he asked for prayers for his parents and for themselves and asked both his mom and dad to watch over them from heaven.

Here's the emotional tribute of Dennis to his loving mom and dad:
