Pasig City will be giving financial assistance to PUV drivers since public transportation services have been suspended due to the enhanced community quarantine.
Mayor Vico Sotto tweeted on Thursday, March 26, that the city has 18,500 drivers of tricycles and jeepneys, as well as UV Express, and each of them would receive P3,000 each.
The cash assistance, according to Mayor Sotto, will be distributed by batches, starting March 30.
