President Rodrigo R. Duterte was advised to undergo self-quarantine after several top officials tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease.
KAMI learned that the Philippines’ head of state had exposure to cabinet members and prominent politicians who got in contact with COVID-infected people.
It can be remembered that the President held meetings with Senator Bong Go, who had recently interacted with ACT-CIS Representative Eric Yap and AFP Chief Felimon Santos Jr.
Yap and Santos both tested positive for the dreadful virus.
Go confirmed that President Duterte is on self-quarantine and he also added that the Davaoeño politician usually spends his birthday inside his home.
The President will be celebrating his 75th birthday on Saturday, March 28.
"Parehas rin lang ngayon dahil inabisuhan siya ng kanyang doktor at ng PSG na magself-quarantine na rin para sa kanyang proteksyon bilang exposed siya sa Malacañang," the Senator stated.
