A Filipino-American singer forgot the lyrics of a song while performing on American Idol.
Francisco Martin and his partner, Louis Knight, did a rendition of The Script's "Breakeven."
Calling themselves 315, Louis started the song and when it was already Francisco's turn, he turned away from the microphone when he forgot the lyrics.
When it was already the judges' turn to evaluate their performance, Katy commended Louis but gave Francisco sound advice.
Katy said that as performers, they all forget the lyrics, but he must not let the audience know. Thereafter, Katy said that he can go backstage and kick a trashcan but that he must not show defeat.
The other two judges, Lionel Ritchie and Luke Bryan also gave the lad some advice.
