St. Luke's Medical Center has issued an important public advisory on Tuesday, March 24.

The hospital emphasized that it could no longer accept more COVID-19 patients, as per GMA's report.

In the advisory, St. Luke's mentioned that at the current time, they have already exceeded their maximum capacity and if they would accept more, it will seriously impact their ability to provide patients with critical attention and care.

They explained that they also have other non-COVID-19 patients on other floors.

As of the moment, the two hospitals have 48 confirmed COVID-19 patients in all and 139 patients under investigation.

They have 592 frontline healthcare staff who are in quarantine, as reported by ABS-CBN.

Despite this grim news, Manila Bulletin reported that St. Luke's promises to provide outpatient COVID-19 testing.

Their emergency rooms would also be accommodating patients for outpatient medical services 24/7.
