A video of pedicab drivers on Agham Road, Quezon City stirred netizens as it allegedly showed how the drivers were arrested by the Office of the City Mayor Task Force Disiplina.

In the video that circulated on Facebook, it could be seen how not just the pedicab drivers, but also the residents, were arguing with the said task force.

One angry woman was telling a task force enforcer that her husband had to scrounge for passengers just so they would be able to buy rice.

She then said that she, along with the rest of them living in the area were already experiencing hunger, and they have nothing, not even rice to eat.

She said that the Mayor has to provide for them and not just impose a lockdown.

The pedicab drivers also chimed in that they understood what the government was doing but their situation must be understood too.

One could be heard saying that they may not die of the virus but they would die of hunger.
