The number of patients who already recovered from the fatal novel coronavirus disease in the Philippines has climbed to 17.
KAMI learned that the said positive information was shared by the Department of Health (DOH) through a press briefing on Sunday, March 22.
Based on its latest report, 4 more patients have recovered after they announced that there are already 13 recoveries as of yesterday.
Including in the COVID-infected Filipinos who recently recovered was a 73-year-old man from Quezon City.
The health department, along with thousands of medical practitioners in the country, is working overtime to prevent the spread of the virus.
“Thank you, Lord! Please heal all positive patients. We’re praying for their fast recovery. Let’s continue to include them in all our prayers,” a netizen commented.

The novel coronavirus disease has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). In the Philippines, there are already 380 confirmed cases as of March 22.
