- Out of the confirmed cases of COVID-19, over 91,000 has recovered from COVID-19
- Highest number of recoveries was seen in China, which numbered to 71,740 to date
- The remaining portion of the total of those who recovered are spread outside of China
- In the Philippines, eight have already recovered
While the number of confirmed coronavirus cases rises, the number of those who recovered from the virus has also risen.
To date, over 91,000 patients have already recovered all over the world, accounting for an 89% recovery rate, as per Worldometers.
China showed the highest number of recoveries at 71,740, from a total of 81,008 cases.
While Italy has surpassed the 4,000-mark in terms of death, it also showed a higher number of recovered cases at 5,129.
Iran has the second-highest number of recoveries, next to China at 6,745.
In the Philippines, eight confirmed cases have recovered. Others are still being treated in hospitals and there are also those who are still under monitoring.
The numbers may be staggering but with a high number of recoveries, it shows that there is hope for mankind.

The coronavirus outbreak started out in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China. Scientists believed that the virus came from an animal at one of Wuhan's wet markets. At present, the Philippines is under a state of calamity while the entire Luzon is under an enhanced community quarantine.
