Bela Padilla recently made headlines when she raised over P3.3 million pesos to be used to help the street vendors affected by the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila.

KAMI learned that she experienced a lot of struggles while donating to the poor with the help of the Philippine Army.

According to Bela, she and the soldiers with her were in high spirits even if they weren’t eating much while donating to different locations in Metro Manila.

“Last 2 stops makati and taguig. Send the Philippine army some love too if you can! our last meal as at around 1pm today but everyone’s smiling and even singing here in the bus. I have a newfound respect for these beautiful souls,” Bela tweeted.

However, her real problem arrived when she realized that the curfew has started before she was able to get home.

“Plot twist: inabutan ako ng curfew. Pano ko uuwi? Hahhaha,” Bela posted.

Hours later, the actress informed her followers that she was able to go back home despite the curfew although she did not specify how she was able to do so.

“I got home! Thank you for asking! I’m self isolating for a few days but so far, I feel great,” the Kapamilya star revealed.

KAMI reported earlier that comedienne Pokwang prepared meals for the police officers and soldiers stationed at the quarantine checkpoints.
