Joy Sotto, the wife of Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, took to social media to respond to a netizen who told her husband to couple his prayers with actions.

Prior to this, Vice Mayor Sotto posted a short message on his Instagram account saying, "A praying nation is a powerful nation."

The netizen, @arien_nicolas then commented on Sotto's post and said, "Galaw gaaw Vice. paki samahan ng aksyon yang dasal mo."

She further added, "Seems like you took social distancing too seriously and home quarantine that you forgot that you are officially elected by the public."

Apparently irked by the response to her husband's post, Joy then responded to @arien_nicolas.

"@arien_nicolas really??? Wala siyang ginagawa? And you say he's home??? I hope he was!!! I really hope he was home with us like you guys. Common guys!!! This is too much! Get your facts straight first before commenting!"
