Breaking: China’s Wuhan has no new coronavirus cases for the first time since outbreak

- Chinese officials have confirmed that there is no new case of coronavirus disease in Wuhan, China

- This is the first zero case in Wuhan since the outbreak began two months ago

- China recorded a total of 34 new cases in the region as of Thursday

- However, these are imported cases of individuals who have travel history abroad

Chinese officials have recorded no new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Wuhan, China, for the first time since the outbreak.

KAMI learned that after two months of battling against coronavirus, zero new cases have been recorded on Thursday.

As reported by the Business Insider, the National Health Commission reported 34 new cases in the region. However, these cases are from people who came to China from abroad. The mainland reported zero new cases of domestic transmission.

As of Thursday, China recorded a total of more than 81,000 cases and more than 3,000 deaths in the country.

According to a report by Reuters, Beijing reported 21 new cases of COVID-19. However, most patients have a travel history in Spain and Britain.

In a report by Bloomberg, as China records zero new cases, experts warned of a possible second wave of COVID-19 crisis in the country. Experts explained that the pathogen is so contagious and it can easily slip and go beyond the borders.

The epicenter of the pandemic is now in Europe according to the World Health Organization (WHO) as the new cases and deaths in the continent continue to increase.
