Mayor Vico Sotto announced on Tuesday night that all Pasig City Hall workers will still get their full salaries during coronavirus disease (COVID-19) enhanced community quarantine.
KAMI learned that all salaries will be released, including those who have Job Order that included “no work, no pay.”
Through a Facebook post, Vico also advised all the city hall workers to stay in their respective homes as much as possible.
“Sa mga kawani ng ating lokal na pamahalaan: Wag kayong mag-alala, tuloy-tuloy kayong makakatanggap ng buong sweldo -- kahit yung mga Job Order na ‘no work no pay,” he wrote on Facebook.
“Gagawan natin ng paraan. Basta, mag-ingat, at hangga't maaari sa bahay lang muna kayo,” he added.
The mayor also mentioned that frontline workers will be getting their hazard pay, overtime pay, and other benefits.
“Sa mga empleyado namang nasa Frontlines, meron kayong hazard pay, OT, at iba pang benepisyong maaasahan,” he said.
As previously reported by KAMI last week, Vico confirmed the first cases of coronavirus disease in Pasig City.
As of posting time, the Department of Health (DOH) recorded a total of 187 coronavirus disease in the Philippines.
