Neri Naig-Miranda's businesses were still reeling from the 3-week closure effect of Taal's eruption and yet it might still need to take a few more weeks of being temporarily closed due to the enhanced community quarantine.

Instead of wallowing in stressful options after Tagaytay City was placed under quarantine, Neri chose to give a beacon of hope starting with her own staff.

She and husband Chito Miranda decided to offer their staff food allowances while their businesses won't be operational.

The 34-year-old actress shared a photo that her staff sent her. She captioned it and announced that Tagaytay is already under community quarantine. She also mentioned that while waiting for an announcement in Alfonso and Laurel, they opted to close their stores for the safety of their staff.

Giving words of encouragement to other business owners, Neri said:

"Sa lahat ng mga negosyante na namumublema kung paano ang mga nakasarang stores, isipin na lang natin na makakabawi tayo. Masipag naman tayo di ba?"

The Star Circle Quest alum also emphasized that what's important is that everyone is safe including their staff and family. She also reminded everyone to share what can be shared and to spread kindness.
