The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed on Tuesday that another Filipino who tested positive for the novel coronavirus or COVID-19 has recovered.
KAMI learned that the said patient was one of the repatriates from the Diamond Princess Cruise Ship that had been quarantined off the coast of Japan.
He is a 31-year-old resident of Negros Oriental and he was listed as Patient 25 or PH25.
According to the health department, the said patient tested positive on March 9 and after several days of being in a hospital, he eventually tested negative for the said virus.
The Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in Pampanga revealed that PH25 will be discharged today.
In total, there are two coronavirus-infected Filipinos who have recovered already. The first one was a 46-year-old man from Pasay City.

Novel coronavirus has been declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) as pandemic since there are approximately 140 countries affected. As of this writing, there are more than 7 thousand deaths across the world.
