CNN's broadcast journalist Pinky Webb has buzzed the online community after an episode from her current affairs daily program, The Source went viral on social media.

KAMI learned that the said clip from the episode was posted by a netizen on social media with the caption, "Awkward."

In the video, the host could be seen discussing the availability of medicines amid the public health emergency due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

However, when the male guest, who happens to be Congressman Joey Salceda, offered to shake hands with Pinky, the latter refused to do so which elicited various reactions and comments from netizens who watched the clip.

Furthermore, Pinky also acknowledged the situation on her social media account and apologized to the Congressman.

In her caption, she wrote, "I remembered: Avoid handshakes. No offense to Cong Joey Salceda of course."

It can be worth noting that various health organizations and officials have told the public to observe proper hygiene and to constantly wash their hands to avoid getting COVID-19.
