Recently, the coronavirus disease has greatly affected Italy as the number of cases in the country continues to rise.

KAMI learned that photos showing the current situations in Italy went viral on social media.

ABS-CBN News shared a photo on their Facebook page showing that instead of hugging or shaking hands to greet people, some people in Italy use their feet instead.

“Sa halip na pakikipagkamay, paa na lang ang gamit ng mga lalaking ito sa Italy para magbatian bilang pag-iingat laban sa #COVID19,” it read in the caption.

Meanwhile, in a different post, the image showed that yellow and black lines are being used as a reminder for people to be distant with each other.

“Naglagay na ng mga dilaw na linya sa ilang establisimyento sa Rome na magsisilbing palatandaan kung gaano dapat kalayo ang mga tao sa isa't isa,” it said in the post.

As reported by Al Jazeera (authored by Kate Mayberry, Mersiha Gadzo, and Saba Aziz), the deadly coronavirus already killed 631 people in Italy and there are more than 10,000 cases recorded.
