The Department of Health (DOH) has just announced that the total number of coronavirus disease cases in the Philippines has risen to 35.
KAMI learned that the DOH has yet to release additional details of the additional 11 patients as of posting time.
The announcement was made through a Facebook page on DOH’s official page.
“The Department of Health (DOH) reported 11 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19,” it read in the post.
“This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 35,” it added.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has been increasing since last Sunday after the DOH reported three new cases.
As previously reported by KAMI, President Rodrigo Duterte said on Monday night that an additional 4 cases were recorded at that time, having a total of 24 new cases.
President Duterte also suspended all the classes in both private and public schools in Metro Manila starting March 10 (Tuesday) to March 14 (Saturday) amid the coronavirus scare.
