Unlike most weekends, the Greenhills shopping center in San Juan looked empty and quiet with only a few people roaming. The establishment is usually crowded during weekends. It was on Saturday when the Philippine health department confirmed new cases of COVID-19. One of the patients was said to have been in the area frequently prior to the confirmation of his disease
Two new cases were said to have frequently stayed at a Muslim prayer hall in Barangay Greenhills according to Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
Some of the City mayors announced class suspension following the DOH advisory about the raised alert level as earlier reported.
Another patient who tested positive for COVID works in Bonifacio Global City Taguig. The firm confirmed that one of their employees was among the newest patients with confirmed cases.
Mayor Francis Zamora clarified that it is safe to go to Greenhills shopping center because the prayer room identified as the place where the patient used to go is in a separate place as the shopping center.
