Jobert Sucaldito has filed a complaint on Wednesday against ABS-CBN before the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

In a report by CNN Philippines, Sucaldito claimed that DZMM station manager Marah Capuya gave him a letter last January, informing him that he would be suspended indefinitely from the radio station without pay because of alleged violations.

The showbiz commentator refused to sign the letter when Capuya told him to. Whenever he asked for an update on his case, he was supposedly told that the network’s ethics panel was still reviewing it.

He also is upset that the suspension has not been lifted even after he gave in to certain demands by the station, like apologizing to Nadine Lustre and deleting his social media posts against her.

Sucaldito got heavily bashed online after he slammed Lustre for criticizing Ricky Lo’s article about her breakup with James Reid.

“I’ve been working with ABS-[CBN] for 20 years, and 17 years of which, I was with DZMM. Tapos ganyan-ganyan lang sisipain mo ako because of the fans na nagrereklamo? Hindi nila naisip kami that work for you? Asan mga puso niyo? Tatanggalan niyo ako ng trabaho? What happens to my family? What happens to my children?” Sucaldito told the media.

During a DZMM show, Sucaldito said sorry for telling Lustre to commit suicide because of the breakup.

“I would like to apologize to Ms. Nadine Lustre and to those who got bothered by that sa aspetong ito. I am also apologizing to my radio network, DZMM, for putting them in discomfort because of this,” he said.

Sucaldito also got into conflict with singer Morissette, who he bashed for walking out of a birthday concert he organized.
