CCTV footage moments before Kim Chiu’s van was ambushed finally released

- Just a day after it happened, the police already released a copy of the CCTV footage taken before the ambush
- It clearly shows that there were two people riding a motorcycle following Kim’s van

The authorities have finally released a copy of the CCTV footage that captured the moment before Kim Chiu’s van was ambushed.
KAMI learned that the said actress made headlines after her vehicle was repeatedly shot by unidentified gunmen in Quezon City on March 4.
The popular celebrity revealed that she was sleeping inside her van when the horrible shooting incident happened.

Kim was with her driver and personal assistant during that time and they were lucky enough to survive eight gunshots.
Based on the newly-released CCTV footage, the actress’ van was being followed by riding-in-tandem suspects while she was on the way to a taping.
The motorcycle was obviously far from the celebrity’s vehicle so the police are looking into the possibility that there were other people involved in the ambush.
“Ang spotter noon ay maaring nandoon sa may gate,” the Chief of QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit told ABS-CBN News.
