Boxing icon and politician Senator Manny Pacquiao has shared that the beginning of his relationship with wife Jinkee was the same with newlywed Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli’s relationship.
KAMI learned that according to Pacquiao, his mother, Dionisia or Mommy D, also did not like his relationship at first.
Through a video shared by ABS-CBN News on Facebook, Pacquiao recalled the moment when his mother did not attend their wedding.
“And then, nagpakasal kami, namanhikan ako, ako lang mag-isa.
The boxing champion then explained that during that time, he was engaged to someone and it was the person that his mother wanted for him.
“Engaged kasi ako before Jinkee.
Out of love, Pacquiao still decided to pursue Jinkee and decided to marry her without the presence of his mother.
However, the senator has a piece of advice for Sarah and Matteo whose wedding went controversial after Sarah’s mother, Divine, reportedly crashed the “secret” wedding.
As previously reported by KAMI, the issue regarding the security guard who claimed that Matteo punched him during the wedding has been settled.
Manny and Jinkee have been married since they were 19-year-old. Now, they have 5 children namely Jimuel, Michael, Princess, Queenie, and Israel.
