Regine Velasquez gave an honest interview about her celebrity friend Sarah Geronimo, who got married to Matteo Guidicelli on February 20.
KAMI learned that she discussed the pop superstar’s conflict with her mother, Divine Geronimo.
According to Regine’s interview with The Philippine Star (authored by Jan Milo Severo), she believes that Sarah and her mother will reconcile in the future.
The Asia’s Songbird stated that Sarah loves her family very much but she decided to go against Mommy Divine’s will because of her desire to be happy with Matteo.
“You know, with all the things that's happening right now, to the family of Sarah, God willing, all of these things will be ironed out.
“I'm sure naman maaayos din 'yan. Si Sarah pa naman mahal na mahal niya 'yung family niya, but s'yempre she also needs to be happy," Regine told The Philippine Star.
Regine’s previous marriage advice to Matteo and Sarah, about being intimate with each other, was slammed on Instagram by entertainment reporter Ricky Lo.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, another singer – Martin Nievera – opened up about Sarah and Matteo’s marriage.
According to the veteran singer, the lovebirds should focus on their relationship as husband and wife and that they should always consult each other before making important life decisions.
