Senator Manny Pacquiao shared his opinion on the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN during a Senate hearing on the matter.
KAMI learned that Pacquiao expressed his support for the renewal of the said network.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, the senator said that the Kapamilya network should be penalized if it is proven that it committed violations but that it should not be closed at all.
He explained that completely shutting down the network will be a big loss to the Filipino people.
“Kung ano man ang problema nila, kung may violation sila, then kasuhan sila. Pero hindi naman siguro doon mapupunta sa closure.
"Parang malaking kawalan ng buong sambayanang Pilipino ang mawala ang ABS-CBN dahil napakalaking tulong ito para sa ating bansa na magkaroon ng impormasyon ang bawat isa," Pacquiao said.
