“They have a program before in Jollibee, ‘yung ‘work-to-school.’ You work for 3 to 4 hours as a student para meron kang pang-tuition fee. You’re only allowed to work for a few hours, then you go back to your school,” Moreno explained.
The Manila mayor also shared that he applied in the Jollibee branch near Isetann Recto. However, he was not able to meet the requirements.
“Nag-apply ako don, hindi ako pumasa. Alam niyo kung bakit? 4’11” lang ako, eh 5’2” ‘yung requirement,” he said.
Moreno shared that he badly wanted to study so he can pursue his dreams of becoming a seaman. When he did not get into the ‘work-to-school program, he just continued working with his sidecar.
In a previous report by KAMI, Moreno recently visited the pares vendor who was involved in an incident.
