A Russian man created a prank that he had been infected with the deadly Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) as he was riding the train.

KAMI learned that for his joke, the man is now facing up to 7 years of jail time.

In a report by the LADbible, the footage was taken on the Moscow Metro and it immediately went viral on social media.

As seen in the video, the man identified as Karomatullo Dzhaborov was wearing a mask and then he fell to the floor for having a “coronavirus attack.”

As the passengers tried to help him, one of his friends screamed “coronavirus” and then the people immediately moved away from him.

The authorities initially charged Dzhaborov and his friends for the prank that they did. However, the prosecutors reportedly upgraded the charges. Dzhaborov is now facing up to 7 years in prison.

"He is no longer accused of simply hooliganism, but now premeditated hooliganism,” his lawyer Roman Shakhmantov said.

It has been reported that in Russia, hooliganism has been listed as a criminal offense.
