Frankie Pangilinan, daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis Pangilinan, is in New York for her college studies.
KAMI learned that she recently took to social media to share some of her struggles during her stay in America.
According to Frankie, she is having some difficulties speaking in English because of her Filipino accent and her tendency to speak in “Taglish.”
“so i cant converse in english without an accent + a handful of filipino words but i cant converse in filipino without getting self conscious and kabado paano pa ako mamumuhay ajdhsjdhsjgd,” she tweeted.
In another tweet, Frankie said that she also becomes nervous when speaking Tagalog in public.
“kaya sorry po kung nahihiya ako sa paggamit ng tagalog minsan!! mas lalo kasi akong takot na magkamali... kaya nabubulunan tuloy ako sa nerbyos. pero pangako ko sa sarili ko ang pagiging sanay,” Frankie tweeted.
