Kobe Bryant’s death in January due to a helicopter crash broke a lot of hearts all over the world.

KAMI learned that Liza Sejkora, principal of Camas High School, posted on social media that Kobe deserved what happened to him.

In a report by CNN (authored by Alisha Ebrahimji), the school principal posted that karma has caught up with the NBA legend since the latter was accused before of rape.

"Not gonna lie. Seems to me that karma caught up with a rapist today," Sejkora posted on Facebook.

She later deleted the said post and told netizens that they are free to judge her the same way she is free to judge Bryant.

"You are free to judge me for the post just as I am free to judge the person the post was about," she wrote.

Because of her controversial posts, Sejkora was put on leave as a school principal. Later on, she apologized for her comments about Bryant.

"On January 26 after news broke Kobe Bryant's death, I made a comment to my private social media which was a personal, visceral reaction. I want to apologize for suggesting that a person's death is deserved. It was inappropriate and tasteless. Further, I apologize for the disruption it caused to our learning environment today,” she stated.
