Marcelito Pomoy has once again made the Filipino people proud through his new achievement in the global stage.
KAMI learned that Marcelito was chosen as one of the finalists for the NBC talent competition “America’s Got Talent.”
The Filipino singer advanced to the finals after receiving acclaim for his semi-finals performance of the song “Con Te Partirò” by Andrea Bocelli.
Marcelito stunned the crowd as he showed his unique ability to sing with a low male voice and with a female-like voice.
His performance earned a standing ovation from both the crowd and the judges – Howie Mandel, Alesha Dixon, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell.
According to Simon, Marcelito has to do something riskier for his finals performance in order to win the title.
“There is no denying you have an incredible, unique, and special talent. So, if you make the finals, I think you’ve got to take a bigger risk because now the surprise is over. But I do believe that with the gift like you’ve got, you’ve got a massive career in front of you,” Simon told Marcelito.
