Real-life “Chun-Li” earns praises for being in the front lines to help fight the 2019 nCoV

- A female bodybuilder-doctor who is known for bringing the “Street Fighter” character Chun-Li to life earned praises recently

- This was amid China's fight in containing the 2019 novel coronavirus which originated in Wuhan, China

- The muscular doctor also revealed some updates on the affected patients and shared her intentions in helping to fight the epidemic

- Infected people developed pneumonia without a clear cause and for which existing treatments were not effective

A female bodybuilder-doctor who is known for bringing the “Street Fighter” character Chun-Li to life earned praises from the netizens amid China's fight in containing the 2019 novel coronavirus which originated in Wuhan, China.

Yuan Herong revealed through an Instagram post that she is also a doctor. She shared some pictures wearing masks and other protective clothing being in the front lines to help fight the 2019 nCoV.

In a series of pictures she shared on Instagram, she wrote, "I'm a doctor. must on the front line. Do my best to help the epidemic."

She also shared some updates on the patients, “171 cases of new pneumonia were cured and 15238 suspected cases were found. The healers are all treated through traditional Chinese medicine and other symptomatic treatment. We will try our best to do a good job in prevention and treatment."

Meanwhile, her followers expressed their admiration for the doctor's dedication to helping fight the virus:
