The first case of novel coronavirus or the 2019-nCoV in the Philippines was recently confirmed by the health officials at the Department of Health.
The country's first case is that of a 38-year-old woman who travelled to the Philippines from Wuhan, China.
Following this news, KAMI learned that various Kapuso celebrities were interviewed about the measures they are taking to protect themselves from the virus.
One of the Kapuso stars who were interviewed was GMA-7's Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera.
During her interview, the actress shared how she protects her children, Maria Letizia and Jose Sixto Dantes against nCoV.
According to Marian, "As much as possible, kailangan yung environment makikita mo. Yung mga kalaro niya, kasama niya sa school, kung may sakit ba, may ubo ba?"
Furthermore, the actress also shared that, "Tsaka after school, after namin lumabas, kailangan talaga wash hands, palit damit. Siguro sa ganoong pamamaraan, sa training na yun at least kahit papano."
As reported earlier by KAMI, Dingdong Dantes is now officially a Lieutenant Commander of the Philippine Navy. His proud wife, Marian Rivera, shared photos from the ceremony on her social media account. Rocco Nacino, another Navy reservist, was present during the ceremony. Marian's post garnered congratulatory messages from celebrities and netizens as well.
Marian Rivera is a veteran film and television actress who is married to Dingdong Dantes. They already have two lovely children named Zia and Ziggy.
