In a report by GMA News Online, Moreno urged the parents to ensure that their children wear masks most especially when in public places.
The Manila mayor also warned stores in the capital city that overprice face masks. He said that such stores will be held “criminally liable.”
"Those stores in Manila, please do not enrich yourselves economically and take advantage of the situation.
“If you do that, you deprive somebody of the capacity to acquire one because tinaasan niyo ang presyo. Kapag siya ang hahawa, the chances are mahahawa ka rin because you are part of the problem. You are not part of the solution," he added.
In a previous report by KAMI, the Department of Health confirmed that the 38-year-old Chinese woman that has coronavirus was admitted at the San Lazaro Hospital in Manila.
