Robin Padilla, in a recent post, declared official termination of contract with Vidanes Management Services, saying that they are no longer his “exclusive management team” on Tuesday, May 10.
This post surfaced after getting bashed online for posting a sample ballot on Instagram account, which according to them was a violation of Comelec election rules. The “Pilipinas Got Talent” judge defended himself by saying that he is currently in a conditional pardon wherein he doesn’t have any civil rights inlcluding the right to vote.
According to Robin, however, this isn’t anything about politics or personal. In the caption, he said, “Ito po ay aking desisyon at sumusunod lamang po ang Vidanes Management. Napakalaki po ng naitulong sa akin ng opisina na ito lalo sa aking pamilya. Ang paghihiwalay na ito ay hindi personal at lalong hindi pulitika.” (This is solely my decision and Vidanes management is just following me. Their office has helped me greatly especially my family. This parting of ways is not personal and most definitely not political.)
This Instagram post has been deleted last May 11.
In an interview, Robin discussed the real reason why he chose to part ways with his former management team. Apparently it did have something to do with his controversial ballot photo, he said: “Wala po yun, personal o business, hindi lang kami nagkaintindihan sa aksyon na gagawin ko patungkol po sa mga nagsabing ako po ay bumoto. Conflict of interest, pero inaayos ni Mama Eva at Mariel.” (It was nothing, personal or business, we just didn’t agree on what action to do regarding those who have said that I voted. Conflict of interest, but it is currently being handled by Mama Eva and Mariel.)
