ESPN reporter Elle Duncan became emotional while sharing her story when she met Kobe Bryant for the first and only time in her life, which she experienced two years ago.

Her emotional video was posted on Twitter and has now gained 10.4 million views, as of this writing.

Duncan said that she met the NBA star backstage during an ESPN event in New York.

She said that Kobe approached her and was so ecstatic asking her questions about her pregnancy.

Kobe: "How are you? How close are you? What are you having?"

Elle: "A girl." (followed by a high-five).

Kobe: "Girls are the best!"

She said that she asked Kobe for advice about raising girls as Kobe was known to have three girls at that time.

The NBA icon replied in a very genuine way and said, "Just be grateful that you've been given that gift because girls are amazing."

She also shared that she asked Kobe if he wanted to have more children.

According to her, Kobe also got honest about what he feels about having children who are all girls.

"I would have five more girls if I could. I'm a girl dad," he then said.

Duncan started to cry while she narrating how Kobe told her stories about his kids, especially Gianna, the one who passed away with him.

"That middle one was a monster! She's a beast! She's better than I was her age. She's got it. That middle one was Gianna 'gigi' Bryant," Kobe proudly uttered at that time.

Elle said, "The only small source of comfort for me, is knowing that he died doing what he loved the most: being a dad. Being a girl dad."
