The video that was circulating online was a footage taken on December 30, 2018, when a helicopter crashed in the United Arab Emirates.

“Helicopter crashes after hitting zipline on Jebel Jais, killing all of its crew. A rescue helicopter has crashed into mountains in Ras Al Khaimah after striking a zipline, killing all of its crew,” it read in the caption.

The Sunline Online which covered the death of Bryant also said that the footage was fake.

"The Sun Online covered the story [in Jebel Jais] when it broke, with the same footage that is being shared online as Bryant's death, but from a slightly different angle,” the publication stated.

French news agency Agence France-Presse also released a video from the crash site and it looked different from the viral video.
