Vice Ganda suddenly mentioned the name of Kobe Bryant while he was hosting the recent episode of “It’s Showtime.”
KAMI learned that the popular comedian opened up about the tragic incident that the basketball legend got involved in.
It can be remembered that the “Black Mamba” and his daughter passed away on Sunday after their helicopter crashed in California.
The “Phenomenal Box Office Star” pointed out that many people, including those who are not fans of Kobe, are sad because of what happened.
He also mentioned that there are unexpected things in life so everyone must treasure every single day on earth.
As he continued addressing the incident, Vice uttered the words “I love you” for his mother and he also apologized to the people who got offended by his jokes.
“Malungkot man pero ire-remind kita. Si Kobe Bryant, kilala mo siya? Wala na siya sa mundo. Ako nga hindi ko kamag-anak si Kobe Bryant pero ang lungkot na wala na siya because the world lost a hero. The world lost an inspiration,” the comedian quipped.
“Ang daming fans ni Kobe Bryant ang umiiyak ngayon kasi nawala si Kobe Bryant na hindi siya nakita sa personal… Kasi that’s the ugly truth of life. Hindi natin alam kung bukas may life pa,” he added.
