- According to the said press statement that was released earlier today, January 27, Nadine Lustre has terminated her contract with the aforementioned talent agency
- On the other hand, Viva firmly stated that Nadine remains their exclusive artist
- They also added that they 'shall initiate legal action against Nadine and/or third parties' that will directly deal with her
Viva Artists Agency, Inc. issued a full statement in response to the press statement that was released by Kapunan and Castillo Law Office on January 27.
The press statement was issued to announce that Nadine Lustre has decided to terminate her contract with Viva.
However, according to Viva's statement, that was posted by MJ Felipe on Twitter, the other half of JaDine is still their exclusive artist.
"Contrary to the Press Statement, Nadine remains an exclusive artist of VIVA as she has aa valid and subsisting Management Contract. Under the law, Nadine cannot unilaterally withdraw from her contract with VIVA.
Any dealings or professional engagements entered into by Nadine, without the consent or approval of Viva constitutes a breach of contract.
VIVA shall initiate appropriate legal action against Nadine and/or third parties that directly deal with Nadine in contravention of VIVA's Management Contract."
