The death of Kobe Bryant has affected countless people not only in America but all over the world.

KAMI learned that several Filipino celebrities took to social media to express their emotional reaction to the death of the basketball legend.

These Pinoy celebrities include actress Anne Curtis and boxing legend Senator Manny Pacquiao.

Anne expressed her sympathies for the loved ones Kobe and daughter Gianna left behind while Manny said that Kobe’s legacy will live forever.

Anne Curtis: “Such sad news to wake up to... to hear about the passing of one of the most celebrated basketball players of all time, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.. and everyone who was on that chopper ride.... May they all Rest In Peace.”

Donny Pangilinan: “I am not okay.”

Gretchen Ho: “I just can’t.”

Bailey May: “Today is a reminder that tomorrow isn’t promised for any of us. Let go of anger. Fix broken relationships. Smile. Laugh & Love more & more. Rest In Peace Kobe and Gianna. We pray for your family and for the families of those who lost there lives.”

As reported earlier by KAMI, Kobe’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant also died in the helicopter crash.

Kobe Bryant is considered as the greatest Los Angeles Lakers player of all time and one of the greatest basketball players in history. He won five NBA Championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, and one NBA Regular Season MVP.
