Wuhan, the commercial center and capital of Hubei province has recently been put under quarantine due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Following the news of the city's lockdown, the death toll has rapidly increased to 41 as well as more than 900 confirmed cases worldwide.

Furthermore, KAMI learned that viral videos that claim to be from the city of Wuhan, claim to show people affected by the said virus collapsing on the streets.

According to the article written by The Sun (authored by Mark Hodge), Wuhan has also been dubbed as 'zombieland' by the city's locals.

Multiple cases of the said virus have also been confirmed in Singapore, Japan, United States, Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

In this video, we can see a man lying unresponsive on the ground as medical staff wearing hazmat suits quickly come over to help the man.

As of this writing, the videos above garnered 1.5 million views and 327,000 views on social media. The said videos also garnered various reactions from netizens on social media after its posting.

As reported earlier by KAMI, several reports have alarmed the public against a possible outbreak of fatal coronavirus. In the Philippines, a 5-year-old boy from China is currently confined and being tested. A health official in Cebu City, meanwhile, advised the public of the precautions to avoid being infected. One of the measures that she mentioned was to avoid eating half-cooked food.
